It’s been a few weeks since I last posted here. I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy a well deserved holiday, with a total break from writing. Now, it’s already the end of June, which means that my short story “Behavioural Surgery” will be available soon on the website of Flash Fiction Magazine!
I am really looking forward to it! It will be posted there on June 30th (next Friday) and you will be able to read it for free! Don’t forget to comment, because if my story is popular enough it might be selected for their monthly anthology which will be published on paperback!
In other news, I have registered for the July edition of Camp NaNoWriMo! Which means that there will be a lot of posts coming your way soon about word counts and motivation! I am part of a really cool cabin, with many international participants, so I hope that this time I’ll be able to finish the first draft of my novel!
Lastly, I have recently participated to a story competition organised by Writer’s Digest. The prompt really inspired me and I liked the challenge of crafting a very short story of 700 words or less. I have submitted my story this week, fingers crossed it gets selected! You can still participate, entries are open until July 10th!
That’s it for now, I’m going back to planning the Camp!
