NaNoWriMo is an annual novel writing project that brings together professional and amateur writers from all over the world. The goal is to write 50’000 words between the 1st and the 30th of November. It’s an awesome event that encourages creativity and during the whole month the platform fundraises for the Young Writers Program:

Céline has won NaNoWriMo in 2015 (with her NCIS fanfiction “Temples of Gold”), in 2016 (with the first draft of her novel “Healers”) and in 2017 (with the second draft of “Healers”). In 2018, she didn’t win but she finished the first draft of her non-fiction book The Part-Time Artist, with 30’000 words written. She is attempting the challenge again in 2019. She has donated to the charity each year, to support their efforts into bringing literature and writing to more people. You can find her author profile here.

She has also won the Camp NaNoWriMo in April and July 2017 with 20’000 words written each time, and the April 2018 Camp NaNoWriMo with one hour of writing done each day!
