Update from Camp NaNo – 3928 words!

It’s the sixth day of Camp NaNoWriMo and I’m on target so far! I’ve chosen to do less words than in November because I knew I had busy weeks coming at work, and also I knew that I would struggle down the line with the end of the novel.

I’m currently writing the “quiet before the storm”, aka the chapters before the final climax battle. It’s not as boring as you’d think! It’s actually quite interesting to place all the pawns where they should be before the big fight starts. I’m just finishing a great scene between my main character and the big bad guy. I love putting my characters into impossible situations!

Goal for today: reach 5000 words, finish the current scene and start the next chapter! If you are writing too, I’ll be on Twitter participating in some sprints to get to my goal, so join me!

Even of you can’t reach your goal because of your busy life, what matters is that your story lives in your mind. As long as you see scenes every time you think about it, it’s ok! Sooner or later, it will end on the paper! I believe in you. Have faith!
